Today was book character day and me and my friends Jacob and Hunter went up on stage as scooter riders. it was cool watching what everyone dressed up as.

 Jean Batten is famous for flying from England to New Zealand

Her great achievements were flying planes

Here is a short biography for her: 

Jean Gardner Batten 

She was born on the 15 of September 1909 and died on 22 November 1982 

She was born in Rotorua.

She had a brother called John Batten and her parents were Ellen Batten and Frederick Batten

Hi this week we have been doing ANZAC. We had to choose a topic and I chose Gallipoli. I found out a lot of things.
